The parents of John were Thomas Love, b. 1794 in NC and Mary M., b. 1803 NC, and they were married in GA. John is buried in Shorterville, Henry Co AL. I have seen nothing to hint of an Indiana connection. Mrs. Scott writes of Rosella Moss: "John Love m. third, Nov. 11, 1895, Rosella Moss. One child, Anna Love. She married Chester Ira Strickland, Sr. of Headland (AL). Their children: Chester I. Strickland, Jr.; Elizabeth Strickland m Emory Cunningham. They have one child, Chester Cunningham." Henry Co AL Cemetery Records, by Mrs. Scott mentions Rosella, wife of John Love, d. June 20, 1897, age 24 yrs.
