>From the index of private collections held at Perkins Library at Duke University, there are a series of mid 1800's letters written from Matthew Love. He mentions Henderson County in western NC. We know many left from nearby Lincoln County NC to Pope County AR in the 1830's. Matthew farmed corn in Yell County, Arkansas in 1868.
