Hello List: I have been a member of the mailing list for only a couple of months, and I have not yet posted anything. During that time I have not seen any postings for the LOVE family from which I descend. I think Rikki's suggestion to post our lines is a great idea. Maybe I will find some of my kinsmen out there! My line begins for sure with Samuel LOVE, Sr. born about 1700 - not sure where, but probably MD. He died before Dec. 8, 1772, in Charles Co. MD. He married Mary ABBOTT. They had several children, but I am only going to give my direct line here. I do have much more information on some of the other lines that descend from Samuel if anyone wants to email me directly. We believe that Samuel's father was Thomas LOVE, and that Thomas' father was a William LOVE. Both of these LOVEs are found in early records of the 1600s in MD. However, the lineage has not been proven to my knowledge. If anyone out there has proof, please let me know. Samuel's descendants directly to me are as follows: a..
