I administer several lists and when I get a bounce from one of those things, I just unsub the offender. People should know better! It is hard on RootsWeb's servers and harder on old lady administrators! Mary, I use a spam filter too, but i have established a "safe"list, there is no need for anyone to respond to emails...the filter simply uses my address list to establish the filter....people should look more closely at the software they are choosing as to whether it is "user friendly" before they run them.....it's not the responsiblity of rootsweb or you to add people to some sort of filter system.., it's the responsibility of the people running the software to make sure they receive the mail they want to..
