I have found several researchers who are claiming Charles Love, b ca 1765, d 1835 Rutherford Co., NC, mar Fereby (Osborn, Ingram) to be the son of Amos I, b 1705 Northumberland Co., VA and Mary Ingram (dau of Charles Ingram and Elizabeth Dameron). I've been researching this line for the past 22 years and have yet to find the link between them. Has someone found something I haven't. I would LOVE to connect them as I have lots of info on the Amos line. Now I've found info that says Fereby is the daughter of Richard Ingram, died in Johnston Co., NC 1781. He did have a dau Pheriby but I have found nothing else on her. Richard's will listed wife Annie, sons John, Abner and William, daus Pheriby INGRAM, Mary LEE, Elizabeth AVERA and Zilpha AVERA. Does anyone know anything about this family? For those of you who know me I have been in the process of packing, moving, and unpacking, packing and moving again for the past two years. Hope this will be the end of the packing and moving. After moving to the mountains, which I love, I found that all my genealogy and yours was drying out. The humidity up there is normally under 10%.
