Then we find Ichabod in Camilus, Onondaga, NY in the 1820 census. I found a man by that name listed in the death notices of Walworth, Wayne Co, NY stating that he had died of Cancer on Feb. 29, 1848. (leap year?) He was 65 years of age at the time of his death. So if this is the same Ichabod Love in these records we would have the following stats: Ichabod Love born ca. 1783 (maybe RI.) He moved to New York before 1820. According to his death record he was a native and he was married. He died in 1848 in NY. Was he the son of John Love who was in Coventry, Kent, RI in 1790 and is this the same John who later moved to Onondaga, NY where we find him on the 1820 census.
