Fred, Have you searched the names "Josiah Perre or Perry" and "Joseph Crawford?" There was a Joseph Crawford who lived in Cabarrus not far from where the LOVE family lived. He is buried at Poplar Tent Presbyterian. During lunch today, I found the following on him: Crawford, Jamima of Cabarrus County, dau of Joseph Crawford, deceased, and Col. James A. Grier, formerly of Mecklenburg County on January 16,1849 in Marshall County, Mississippi by Rev. Daniel H. Clayton. Try googling up variants of those names in Cabarrus, SC, GA and NC.
