Pat Kennedy here: I have a personal family style book which was written by Joe Allen Love, about his family records starting with William "English Bill" Love and the Chickasaw Loves. The only child listed in this book of William "English Bill" Love is the son....Thomas Love, who was a Loyalist , like his father. And escaped from his home on the night that his father was killed and went to live with the friendly Chickasaw Indians. (etc) William "English Bill" was a brother to James Love, weaver and Robert Love of York County, S.C., who unlike William Love, were both patriots [source: The Love family Historical and Genealogical Quarterly, Vol. II, Jan 1955 and Some Heroes of the American Revolution , by Rev. J. D. Baily, 1924 pg: 251.] Thomas had a son named Robert H.
