    1. Re: [LOVE] Joseph Love line DNA (long)

    3. Hi Pat - Lou Love here - As I understand the YDNA testing and results - The prime way that you get Love males not matching is they have a different lineage - they don't belong in the line into which they thought they were born. "Shoehorning" people and dates to make them fit often causes this problem. I've done it as a research tool at times in my "research database" just to see if I can make connections. It rarely works. However, through adoption, out-of wedlock births, adultery, or rape, someone who is NOT a Love, could be siring male children who claim the Love surname. That Really muddies the waters. Just some random wanderings of a feeble mind. Love to all, Lou Louis E. Love, O.D. I wonder how I can help in having another DNA testing on the Joseph Love and Mary Teas line, that is testing of some one in my family. I think the line is broken, but let me go over a possible (two ideals.) Joseph Love (1728-1804) md: Mary Teas (1734-1815) John Love (1766-1851 md: Orpha Dungan (1775-1813) Jeremiah Dungan Love (1801-1866) md: Elizabeth McCray (1804-1888) William M. Love (1824-1865) md: Hannah Elrita Kimmons/Kimmins (1832-1856) ***** Hannah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Love (1851-1918) md: John W. Allstott (1835-1907) [Is this line broken for DNA, because of a female???] R. E. Allstott md: Mary E. Wardwell R. E. and Mary E. (Wardwell) Allstott, had eight (8) girls and three boys; I think the line is broken for DNA testing with girls. How about the 3 sons, could the line be open for testing? One son, had 2 daughter; next son had 2 girls (1 living) and 2 boys (both deceased); next son had 3 sons (all living) and 1 daughter (living.) Another question??? John B. Love (1836-1915) md: #1 Catherine Phariss (1840-1866). Is Len Walker Love a child of John B. Love's first marriage or his second? If a child of Catherine Phariss, maybe we could check through my brothers DNA.....as Catherine Phariss, is of my fathers Phariss line. Which doesn't make much sense, but is a thought. Another thought: Hannah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Love's brother married into the Chickasaw Loves.....which goes back to William Love. I wish I could be of more help on this testing, but I'm sure because of the female line, the DNA testing is out of the question? What do you think?
