subscribeI get thoroughly confused when we get back to 1700`s on these Loe families. that`s what happens when we don`t dig out the connections ourselves. Though i sure do appreciate the hard work that is sometimes handed to me ona silver platter, so to speak. I share whatever whenever i can also. Now I`m wondering if a connection has ever been established as to Joseph love and Mary Marshall who settled in Davidson Co. Tn. and the Joseph Love and Mary teas family? Straighten me out. Or, is ther a good web site I could look at. I am of the Benjamin J. Love and Martha Patton line. back to Mary (Polly) Love and her father, Joseph Love. Sue in Al.
Sue, you are certainly on the right list. We wouldn't want you to leave. There has not been a connection between the Joseph's yet. Part of the reason for the Y-DNA tests is to try and find the connections between our early Loves. Right now the one man that tested from the Joseph/Mary Teas line did not match the man that is from the line from Joseph /Margaret Bryan to Joseph II/Mary Marshall-- I don't have the details on that line since we have not proven the connection. These Loves were in the same areas and , John, son of Joseph and Margaret was bound out after Joseph died to Joseph/Mary Teas Since these are not my Loves someone will have to tell me if there was a Benjamin J. Love. I don't have see one in the few sheets I have. Also if I am wrong somewhere in the Joseph/Mgt line -someone can hit me with a wet noodle <G> Mary Harkey Russell [email protected] http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~bird ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> > Now I`m wondering if a connection has ever been established as to Joseph love > and Mary Marshall who settled in Davidson Co.
