Faye Thompson Love LOVE, FAYE THOMPSON - of Maryville passed away, Friday, December 29, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was born in Oneida, Tennessee on May 6, 1910. She was a member of First Baptist Church Maryville since February 6, 1949. She was also a 50 year member of Prudence Chapter Eastern Star Alcoa and retired from the University of Tennessee. Preceded in death by: parents, B.C. & Artie Newport Thompson; husbands, Lawrence V. Luther, Harry R. Hartman, and Ralph A. Love; daughter, Jeanene Luther Broadway Herron; brothers, Ora, E.C. and J. E. Thompson; granddaughter, Rhonda Broadway; Great-granddaughter, Malrey Faye Broadway; stepson, H. Joe Hartman. Survivors include: grandsons, Douglas H. Broadway, Mark Broadway, and Christopher L. Broadway; son-in-law, C. Ray Herron all of Maryville; step children, Gary Love and wife Jan of Jonesboro, GA, Jean Mack & husband Bill of Louisville, TN, Johnnie Moore & husband Harry, Eloise Abbott of Maryville; seven great-grandchildren; five step grandchildren; special nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Gregory; caregiver and friend, Geraldine Garland. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Charles Ballard and Dr. David C. Sharp officiating.
