The following is the obituary for Elizabeth Love (my g-g grandmother), wife of George Wild, from The Hamilton Spectator, 1918. In the hopes that someone might recognize a connection. Thanks much and best wishes for the new year. OBITUARY, HAMILTON SPECTATOR FRIDAY APRIL 5, 1918, P. 23 (2 notices) 1. "Deaths and Funerals" Mrs. George Wild One of the oldest residents of this city passed away last evening in the person of Mrs. Elizabeth Love Wild widow of George Wild. Deceased was born in Ireland and was in her ninety-fifth year. Since she was a little girl she had resided in this city. She had been ill for the last four months and passed away at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Marshall, Battery Lodge, York and Dundurn Streets. For many years she had been an adherent of St Peter's church and her death will be sincerely regretted by a wide circle of friends. Besides her daughter, with whom she resided, she leaves to mourn, her demise, a son, James, of this city, and a daughter, Mrs. James Fitzgerald, of Washington, D.C. A funeral service will be conducted at her late residence, Saturday morning at 7: 45, after which the remains will be sent to Cayuga, Ont. For interment. 2. Funeral service, private, on Saturday morning at 7:45 o'clock.
