I knew better but wanted to believe it. The very biggest disappointment to me has been no match for kit. 8299 since that goes right back to Joseph Love/Mary Teas. Some of our early almost first hand accounts from ancestors call the sons of Thomas Love /Sally Colbert " cousin" also many of us hung on to the Love families at "Tinkling Springs church" being at least cousins. I think the two kits that matched one was from Bill of Galviston is that right? The other kit 9179 I have no idea . Maybe it would do the list good since we are talking about dna anyway to have those people who find a match, to give a short synopsis of their line. The one person who had a one number mutation to the other two-- You are a match too. This subject of DNA is so far over my head that I doubt I ever understand enough to know what I'm thinking. In our Harkey results- my maiden name. One Harkey, my brother matched a Herche perfectly ( our name in Germany in the 1700s) Yet the man we were positive (in our minds ) he matched, had an 11/12 match. So we have basically 3 matches and bunches of confusion.
