John & Jean Love had a son, Alexander, 1782 in Kirkinner. We were thinking this may be the same Alexander that married Jane Mark and raised their family in Kirkcowan, Wigtown, Scotland. Anthony Stewart Love was the son of Alexander & Jane, born in 1818. Anthony was my gggrandfather. We found him in Missouri in 1850.
