I'm stuck in Anson County, North Carolina. Searching for any information on David Love born abt. 1740. He left home at 16 years old, lived with the Cherokee Indians for a time, trapping. He sold his pelts and went to England for a time (returning in 1763?). He married Jean (Jane) Blewitt of Bladen County, North Carolina in 1772. He was 32 yo and she was 16 yo. David Love was a Revolutionary War officer with the North Carolina line. He was a Lieutenant Colonel or Colonel upon completion of his service. I have more information at home. I need to find any information on his parents and siblings. Please help....thanks.
