I never knew if they had children or not. I know that Alice was a slave in Virginia, and her brother's name was Emmanuel Bushnell. My grandmother has the Deadwood Dick book too, and remembers her Aunt Alice telling her stories when she was little. I am interested to know if Alice and Nat had children.
