    1. Re: [LOVE] Love
    2. There was a James Love and I think son John who moved from Cumberland County NC to Mecklenburg County NC ca. 1772. James's first purchase in Mecklenburg was a joint purchase with John McEachen. John remained in Mecklenburg, now Cabarrus, but James Love and John Love moved ca. 1784. I think to SC. At the same time, a deed in Cumberland settled estate lands of Alexander McAllister. Named in the deed was son in law John Love of MEcklenburg. Alexander McAlister was big into the Presbyterian Church ... Pine Bluff in Cumberland. I wonder if there is a DNA link to your LOVE and also what is the tie between the two McEacherns... > From: "gc-gateway@rootsweb.com" <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> > Date: 2007/07/16 Mon PM 09:14:08 EDT > To: <LOVE-L@rootsweb.com> > Subject: Re: [LOVE] Love > > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: Lou Love > Surnames: > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.love/679.691.693.694.696.705.1/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > Here's what I have on your Angus - This is not my line & I have not verified the data - though I trust the source. > Hope this helps. > Love, Lou > LLove1039@sbcglobal.net > > Family Group Sheet > ========================================================================================== > Father: ANGUS LOVE > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Birth: bet 1765-1784 Robeson Co., North Carolina > Death: 1853 > Death: 1853 > Father: Alexander LOVE ( - ) > Mother: Mary MOORE [OR MCCARTY] ( - ) > Other spouse: UNKNOWN LOVE ( - ) > ========================================================================================== > Mother: MARGARET MCLAUGHLIN > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Father: > Mother: > ========================================================================================== > Children > ========================================================================================== > 1 M DANIEL LOVE > Spouse: UNKNOWN MCLAUGHLIN ( - ) > Spouse: ANNABEL MCEACHIN ( - ) > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > 2 F JANE LOVE > Spouse: ALEXANDER MCARTHUR ( - ) > ============================================================ > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > FATHER NOTES: ANGUS LOVE > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Birth (bet 1765 and 1784): CENSUS OF 1810 SHOWS HIM @ 26-45 THEREFORE DOB = > 1745-1785 > Death (1853): DOD per gr-dau.
