On the front inside cover is written "Kate Dennis Dec. 25, 1890." It is a hobby of mine to rescue these old treasures and try to return them to family members. The following names are listed in this album: D. Aubrey Kramien (also college graduation announcement and picture with diploma); Hobart McKinley McFaddin; Mr. & Mrs. E Q. Tibbits; Mr. R E Dennis (very strong looking, handsome gentleman!); Maude Flearson 1888 ; Joseph, Charles and Marg??? Dennis ; William Love (photo and funeral card - died 1901 at the age of 81 yrs); Mrs. Ella Benham (no picture) ; and a long newspaper article about the Golden anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. A. Crain who were originally from Baraboo, Wis. Many names were listed as guests - too many to list here. If you are interested in any of these names just let me know. Thanks - Sue sug53@earthlink.net

Nor can you find out who sent the post to the message board if you use it. Ancestry has decided this is necessary to protect your privacy. When I use the board from now on I intend to put my email contact address inside the message saying " contact me at this address" in that way, if someone sees my post and they come from the same family line that I do, they will have someway to contact me. This is not easy as there are many twists and turns in this family. Great Grandfolks are: Earnest and Mazie Love of Milwaukee, WI (Both of Swedish decent) Earnest is a twin and the brother changed his name to the original name of Johnson but no one knows the whereabouts of his family. They parted ways. No information on Mazie. Her age, history or if there were other children by her other than listed below. Children: Darrell Tiffany Love(born 10/25/1925) and Evelyn Love of Milwaukee, WI Darrell Married Jean Blair of Minneapolis, MN ? on the year. They had a daughter 3/8/1946 DaleJeanne Love Darrell Divorced Jean Blair in 1947 and later married a woman named Celia or Cecilia. Darrell and Celia had a daughter Barbara around 1948. ? on the exact year. Darrell and Celia divorced as a mutual agreement after his head injury in Korea. Around 1981 Darrell remarried Jean Blair and moved to Wyoming for a short time then later to Grand Junction, CO. Darrell pasted away 9/15/2006. No mention of his sisters whereabouts other than somewhere in California. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bruce & Carrie Gednalske

In 1850 he and his wife Mary Anna Anderson(b.27 Mar 1826, Kirkeen, Scotland) were living in Detroit, Michigan, where he worked as a painter. In 1860 he was a grocer in Marine City, St. Clair County, Michigan. He also kept a saloon. He was a member of Sam Ward Masonic Lodge. Adam and Mary Ann had the following children: Mary Ida w/o George Graves; Charles James; Margaret E.; Sarah Jeanette w/o John Wedow; William Adam; and Isabella Ann w/o Theobald Spademan. Adam died 4 March 1868 and is buried in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair, Michigan. Would like to corresond with anyone re this family.

I have Love relatives who settled in Illinois from Ohio in the early 1830's. One ancestor was a James Love born ABT 1820 in Ohio. He died in McLean county, Illinois in 1896. His brother Henry B. Love settled in Illinois with him and their father was John Love. I'm not sure in Ohio where they came from. Just curious if the James you're looking for is the same James in my records.

He was born around 1822 in Ohio and was married to a woman named Sarah. His father was John and his son was also John, born in 1851 in Illinois. John (1851) married Elizabeth Kimler and evenutally moved out to Iowa where he died in 1924 in Cherokee County. My grandmother Gladys Love lived in Lake City, Calhoun county, Iowa and moved to Illinois with my grandfather, Marshall Linquist. I'd like to know in Ohio where they originated and if anyone else is researching that same family.
