I have Robert and Mary Ann with twelve children, but I don't have anything on the James children, nor do I have anything on another of Samuels children marring a Dillard girl. I would be happy to share what I have with you. I am very interested in any facts that you might have on the father of Samuel. My grandfather was unable to go back,for sure, beyond Samuel. He thought that Samuel's father was Robert, but could find no proof. He did state that the father of Samuel was not Ephram, because he found that Ephram had no sons. Is Robert J Stuart who was in Arlington, Texas still on the list - I'm looking for info on the Memoirs of William Calhoun Love & those of Thomas Shelby Love which he had access to at one time. I've not found my copy of Wm. Calhoun Love papers & need to get a new file. Probably lost in the shuffle of computers. Hi to all: I am looking for more information on my ggg grandparents, John LOVE & Hannah (Osborn) LOVE who lived in PA, OH, KY, and IN.. and perhaps in other states but I don't know. Who were John's parents? Where all did he live? Was he in the War of 1812? And if so, from what state? Who were his siblings and where were they when he lived in Putnam co. IN? John and Hannah had several children, but namely my gg grandmother, Delilah Love, who m. (1) Ransom Moss, ca. 1831/2, (2) Joseph Wells in 1856; They also a son, Lyman Love who lived in Putnam Co. The Love Family Reunion for this particular line of the Love family (John Love / Margaret King, William Cullen Love / Sarah M. Bryan, James Harrison Love / wives, kids, etc ) is held yearly in a small cemetery just outside the city of St. Joe, Searcy County Arkansas. It is held every year on mothers day at the Love Family Cemetery in St. Joe, Arkansas. (on a corner of what used to be Capt. James Harrison Love s farm) I have been told of another that is held in (or just outside) Black, Mo. (in Reynolds County) but I don't know anything about it. Fred Love James Love WALNUT - James Morris Love, 66, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of Tiplersville Baptist Church. He was an oil field worker in Louisiana and Texas. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Tiplersville Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Bass and Bro. Randy Futral officiating. Burial will be in Tiplersville Cemetery. Ripley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his companion, Doris Sexton of Walnut; two stepdaughters, Patricia Butler and Mary Jo Gibbons, both of Walnut; two stepsons, Steven Sexton and Charles Butler, both of Walnut; two sisters, Geneva Peoples of Liberty and Mary Ann Gordon of Natchez; one brother, Mike Love of McComb. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Love and Minnie Jones Love. Pallbearers will be Michael Hopper, Gary Ray Hopper, Guyton Wilkerson, Josh Gibbons, David Horton and Shane Williamson. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time Friday.

I found this on the LDS site FamilySearch. by looking for William Love born about 1700. in Virginia.... What I found was totally unexpected since this seems to indicate that the father of Joseph Love/ Mary Teas was this William? Then ... it lists another Samuel other than the one who married Dorcas Bell as Joseph's brother? We know that some of Samuel's children married into the Dillard family but not him? Any thoughts on this from any of you. There is no LDS genealogy library within 100 miles of me. Then someone told me that these records were submitted many years ago and are not open to the public, but I found this on their site?
