(as were both is parents), a farmer; with wife Catherine, bc. 1846 in VA. (as were both her parents); with children "Hustin" (John H.), bc. 1865 in Illinois; "Mandie", bc. 1869 in Illinois or Missouri; "Rewben Walter", bc. 1874 in Missouri; "NOEL" (your N.L. Looney), bc. 1878 in Missouri; and Maria, b. Feb. 1880 in Missouri. (by the way... the strange spellings are directly from the census... not poor spelling on my part). 3 Aug. 1870 (Bolivar P.O.), Green Township, Polk Co., MO. census: John S., Catherine, John H., "Manda".
