George Martin Looney married Elizabeth Hammond 22 Dec 1831 in Lauderdale Co, Ala. From what I've pieced together, they had one son, Joseph Looney b. 1834. No "H" George Martin Looney married (#2) Lucinda Reid Newton 31 Aug 1837 in Lauderdale Co, Ala. They named one of their sons Joseph Samuel Looney b. 1843. George Martin Looney had a brother, Joseph H. Looney b. 1813. George Martin and Joseph H. were sons of Catherine _?_ Looney. I have not determined what the "H" stood for as Joseph's middle name. He did have a brother William Harrison Looney. I don't know if both had the same middle name or not.
