Steve, I got this website from another discussion group and found it very interesting. Scroll down to the History of the Cherokee Indians, book, click on surnames. They state there are 4 Looney names in this book! At bottom of page check out Cherokee docket books, k-m---at bottom in blue, shows Elizabeth Looney, pg 212 Think I may order some books!
