Does anyone out there know anything about the Looney's living in Bledsoe or Marion County, TN around 1800 and later? I've had no luck connecting my Esther "Hettie/Hety" Looney to anyone. She was born somewhere between 1790 and 1806 (probably 1790 -1800). She married James Anderson about 1815 in Bledsoe County TN, I'm told. They raised their family in or around Marion County, TN. James and Hettie Looney Anderson are my ggggrandparents. They named their first-born Peter Looney Anderson and I believe there may have been Peter Looney (possibly her father) in the Bledsoe County, TN area at that time. Any one know of this Peter?
