    3. This looks like the David and Mary Ann McClelland family. It fits the proper time period, David was born around 1736, it includes a lot of the same sibling names, ie, Joseph William, David and Abraham. David and Mary Looney had a son named Joseph William Looney b. ~1785. Tilton does not have a lot of information on Joseph William Looney, but does imply a connection to a marriage to Lavina Earnst 17 Aug 1807 in Greene Co, TN. (see Tilton's David (2) Looney MS, Page 31). With a little more work, you may find this family you ask about connects to the David (2) Looney line.
