(Very frustrating couple of days--my e-mail was off and hope they have it repaired.) REPORT ON PETER LUNA'S CEMETERY Marshall County, Tennessee Peter Luna (son of Peter Looney) had lived much of his life in Sumner County, TN. By 1820 he moved his family to Marshall County, along with most of his large family. His farm was along Fishing Ford Road, about __ miles below Lewisburg. The discovered after some effort. The little plot (no more than 15 by 12 feet) has a wire fence around it with posts set in concrete. The fence has been pushed in the front. Large animals would be able to get in. Since the space inside is limited, any animal that would get it could do serious damage. Peter Luna's marker is still standing solid, but the lettering (except name) on the marker is nearly gone. Mary Luna's marker is broken and flat on the ground. Another marker stands in the row, assumed to be Peter's second wife, Elizabeth Hogan. Another! large marker rested up against a tree. This cemetery needs a repair crew to go in and re-set two or three posts and fix the fence.
