Dear List Can anyone help me to research my LOONEY'S. I have my Gt. grandmother born 1847, Goodge St, London, W.1. ELIZABETH. Her father was THOMAS, born 1821, Manchester. His father was JAMES, born 1767, possibly in the Isle of Man, married Elizabeth ROBINSON at Manchester Cathedral and all their children christened there. They lived at 5 Style St., Manchester he was a small shopkeeper. His son Thomas, was a tailor. Another son Francis was an amateur geologist, and also preached against children working down the mines.
