    1. [LOONEY-L] Peter Looney Cemetery
    2. REPORT ON PETER LOONEY'S CEMETERY NEAR COTTONTOWN, SUMNER COUNTY, TENNESSEE Peter Looney (son of Absalom Looney) was buried on his farm on Station Camp Report on Peter Looney's Cemetery near Cottontown, Sumner County, Tennessee Peter Looney (son of Absalom Looney) was buried on his farm on Station Camp creek, Sumner County, Tennessee. the cemetery is at the intersections of Cummins Road and Station Camp Creek Road. It is located in the middle of a big cornfield. It is unfenced, but doesn't need to be since no animals run in the cornfield. A bunch of large trees have grown in the area. Since there were large trees in the cemetery in the middle of the cornfield, the location seemed odd. Peter Looney's marker was standing solid.. Beside his was the marker for his wife, Rachel (believed to be Harman). You can read the names on both, but other letters are covered with moss. This cemetery seems to be in pretty good hands.
