I had two very nice visits with Elizabeth. She truely has done an incredible amount of research on the Looney Line. My head is still swimming from just the information on my line (Joseph Looney). She loaned me photographs she had taken of the Joseph Looney Homestead where remains of root cellars and stone chimneys were visible in 1960 when the photo's were taken. I have since digitized these photo's where they can be viewed at the usual web site address (http://members.aol.com/jsully7/index.html) under Biography's. She suggested that others might be interested in her compiled list of Looney Genealogy references. I have since typed these up and am in the process of posting them at the site above, with her permission. Also, Ms. Looney has asked me to compile some old genealogy charts drawn up on an extremely large sheet of paper. If I get the green light, I can post this information to share with others, too. Elizabeth is bothered by some physical problems (hard to get around, etc) but her mind is as nimble as ever. I would like to post a bio on her extensive accomplishments, as they are impressive. And you know ... she is only about 5 miles away and I've just now made her acquaintence. Like others, she had been in contact with others in my family. Wow! Jim Sullivan
