I am determined to find my gr grandfather's ancestry and connection with the main Looney families. I wish to examine each of the schedules to find a George "G.W." Looney (born March 1864 in Ga.) to parents who were also born in Ga. All indications seem to lead to a connection with the Martin L. Looney family, possibly through their son Absalom C. Looney. I understand that Absalom Looney had a 1st wife sur-named ADAMS (a widow) who may have given Absalom children between 1861-1865. Absalom then married (2nd) to Mary Eliza Brown (1866) and they had several children.
