    3. Hi, I am also researching the Looney families of Ga. my gg grandmother Lydia Looney was born there abt. 1808, but was in Tn before 1829 when she md. my gg grandfather Levi London. I'd appreciate it if you would keep an eye out for these people in your search. Early records are really hard to find in Ga. According to the Tilton manuscript, there was a son Martin Luther Looney b. 10/29/1811 in Ga. son of Adam (3); Robert (2). His mother was Patsie Walters b. Ga. He is probably the Martin L. Looney below in the 1870 census.
