    2. This was in the Springfield, MO News-Leader newspaper. Does anyone know from which Looney line he descends from? His grandfather, great-grandfather?? I am related to the Looneys from Walnut Grove, MO, but I don't know exactly where he fits, but think he might be from the Robert Looney Jr/ Benjamin Looney/Isom Looney/Allen Looney line. Orville Allen Looney Orville Allen Looney, 89, of Arlington, Texas, formerly of Walnut Grove, passed away Friday morning at 4:45 a.m. in Pat's Care Home following an extended illness. He was born in Walnut Grove, the son of Orville A. and Lillie B. Looney, growing up in the Walnut Grove area, graduating from Walnut Grove High School in 1932. He was affiliated with the Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and retired from the Army-Air Force Exchange Service as Director of Training. Traveling extensively throughout the world, he lived in Germany, New York, and for several years in Hawaii. He is survived by one sister, Marjorie Fite of Tulsa, Okla.; caregivers, Jon and Kim Cannon of Alvaredo, Texas; and many extended friends he felt were as family. Graveside services will be Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004, at 2 p.m. in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, with Rev. Lon Killingsworth officiating. Interment will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Brim-Daniel Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, Mo. Friends may call at the Walnut Grove chapel after 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, prior to services.
