They were married 23 Juluy 1837 in Lauderdale County, AL by my gg-granfather, David Reasons Looney, J. P. Who were the parents of William Harrison Looney? It is my thinking that Joe & Elizabeths children were: William Carroll b. 1836; Rebecca Looney b. 1837; Mary P Looney 1847 & James M 1854? Isn't "M" an unusual initial for this period of Looneys? Also, I am wondering if George & Joseph were SONS (instead of brothers) of Wm. H.? Whadda think?
