Another lead worth checking into. I've seen a reference to a James R. Looney b. abt. 1836 who was a possible son of David Reasons Looney of the David (2) Looney line. David Reasons Looney was known to live in Lauderdale Co, Ala. near other Looney relations believed to be of the Robert (2) Looney line and later he moved into Texas. I don't have too much on the David (2) Looney line and hopefully someone from that line can clarify this James R. Looney mentioned as a relation to David Reasons Looney.
