I am searching for the parents of Lydia Looney who married Levi London on Jam 22, 1828 in Maury County, Tennessee. they are my gg grandparents. On the marriage record it says Liddy Looney md Levy London. According to census records her name was Lydia born about 1808 in Ga. Apparently her family moved to Tn. sonetime prior to 1828. In the 1807 Franklin Co., Ga. Tas list were Adam Looney who was also listed in the 1820 and 1840 census, so he would not have been in Tn. in the 1820's; and Peter Looney 1807 Tax list, also listed in the 1820 census in Franklin Co., Ga. The Looney families in Maury County in the 1830 census are Abram Looney; Robert Looney age 60/70; David R. Looney age 20/30, Most likely one of these families belong to her. Can anyone make a connection between the Ga. families and the Tn. families? I hope someone can help me on this because I have searched for her family and have hit a wall. Thanks bj
