This was the first chance I've ever had to go to Hart County to research and I was only there for 3 hours prior to a Looney wedding, so I only researched Looneys. But I found a good bit. I will spare you all (and myself typing) the extensive monographs I found on Morgan and his brothers George and Martin V. I have LOTS on them already if anyone is interested. There seem to be few in the Adam 2 line on the list, so I am thrilled to have found Betty as a long lost "cousin." Maybe more cousins will come out of the woodwork. And maybe others can identify some of the unknowns. And help me find out more about Adam 2 and Robert 3. When I get a chance I will try to look and see if I have anything for Brenda and Jane. My Morgan lived and taught in AR a number of years and so they may have known they were cousins. I have searched for items on AR Looneys a long time because Morgan's wife died there, the children were split up and I haven't been able to find them again until they were grown. Where were they living? I would be interested in knowing WHICH William Looney Brenda and Jane are descended from. I've always found in genealogy that the more I share, the more I get back. Sometimes messages I sent out years ago bear fruit--I found a long lost 1st and a 3rd cousin that way who I hadn't seen since childhood. Genealogists are wonderful, caring, sharing people.
