The following is from a book: "History of Franklin County, Georgia Noah and Joseph Looney married sisters.  Daughters of John McNeil and Fannie Cleveland, a daughter of John Cleveland.  A brother of Col. Ben Cleveland of Kings mountain fame. From History Franklin County, GA: Noah Looney and his wife, Frances McNeil Cleveland who was born in Georgia, and buried at Shoal Creek, came from Isle of Man and lived near Cleveland Ferry on Tugaloo River, SC, later moving to Parkerstown where he was a carpenter. Their children were: Morgan Harbin b. 10-27-1825 d. 6-20-1901 Sarah Ann b. 5-9-1828 d. 11-7-1910 Frances Elizabeth b. 12-5-1830 d. 11-11-1926 Mary b. 1832 ? Henry b. 1834 ? George Cleveland b. 2-6-1836 d. 4-28-1927 Martin Van Buren b. 2-17-1841 d. 4-2-1911 Morgan H. was buried near Hartwell 1901. Morgan H. and George came to Fayetteville Seminary in 1857. During the War Between the States, George was captain of Company 1 Second Georgia Cavalry. Before the war ended he was colonel of a regiment. Morgan H., George C., and Martin V.
