My name is Floyd Geron Looney, my father's name is Billy Floyd Looney and his father is Oscar Theodore Looney (uncle or brother possibly named Lou) . My father was born in 'Paul's Valley' Oklahoma. I am not too sure about any other geneology.(Hey, so we don't have records) There is a John and a Arthur Looney in there somewhere- I believe as my fathers brothers. I promise to ask my father but at 68 his memory is going. I understand that I can have a census search for my grandfather from 1930 for $40, Has anyone else done this? Is it accurate? I believe my grandfathers wife (my grandfather) was Ala Mae (I don't how thats spelled) Williams and was from Missouri. To throw any research further off, we believe we may have some Native American stock too. It seems, possibly, that Oscar T Looney's father married a full blood Choctaw. Since my middle name is Geron I have been telling people 'wrong tribe' a lot lately. The welome message from the list mentioned O'Looney in England. I stopped by a pub in New Orleans and saw O'Looney on a copy of an old map. I should have bought a copy of the dang poster. As you can see, we don't know much about our family history.
