These were originally written back in the early 1960s after many years of research. Check out the part for Absalom Looney. Also, something that Miss Elizabeth Looney of Washington, D.C. told me several years ago, "The Looney family on the early frontiers apparently didn't have much to do except go to church, read the bible and have children.
