21-Feb-1914 Miss Maude PRATT, daughter of E. O. PRATT (Eugene Oscar) and sister of Harry D. PRATT, died Thursday afternoon at the Marble Hospital. (Gunnison County, Colorado) Death was due to tubercular meningitis. Short services were conducted by the Rev. Oliver KINGMAN Friday afternoon and burial will be at Rutland, Vermont beside her mother (Minerva FRENCH PRATT and ?)and sister. A married brother (Oscar Eugene) lives at Rutland. Maude was born 2Sep1879 at Ludlow,Vermont and five years ago her mother (Mary LOONEY) died at Denver of tuberculosis. I've yet to find if Mary A. LOONEY is the daughter of John LOONEY and Mary FITSGERALD, of Ireland into Vermont or John LOONEY and Mary RYAN of Ireland into Vermont. Marie, Your message is kind of confusing. Is the lead in to your message from an old obituary? It appears that Maude Pratt died in 1914 and that her mother was Mary Looney who died in 1909. I can't tell if you are simply referring to your un-named grandmother of if your grandmother was named Charlotte Mary Pratt. If you are seeking information on a possible family connection, could you lay out the family relationships a little different? Please tell us who Mary Looney married, where they married and when they married if you know this. Do you have a birth date and place for Mary Looney?
