I have the following information in relation to Joseph W. Looney and family. Joseph and Lavina Ernest were married 17 Aug 1807 in Green County, Tenn. I do not show them having a daughter Lavina K., but that doesn't mean they didn't have one. Joseph was the son of David (2) Looney. Dear List, I've just returned from GB and Isle of Man. I went to the Manx Museum which holds old parish registers to try and find info re: Robert and ? Llewellyn Looney. Upon consideration, the folks there in charge decided that the Maughold Parish records were much too fragile to allow anyone to handle them. I searched all available film they had and came up with zilch. A real disappointment, but understandable. Sorry I wasn't able to be of more help, but the trip to IOM was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Carol
