    3. I have the following information in relation to Joseph W. Looney and family. Joseph and Lavina Ernest were married 17 Aug 1807 in Green County, Tenn. I do not show them having a daughter Lavina K., but that doesn't mean they didn't have one. Joseph was the son of David (2) Looney. 3. Hello Jake You asked about the following: While looking in the Sumner County Cemetery book i found this , Racharl Looney b 6-26- 1761 d 8-1-1855 and Peter Looney b 9-21-1755 d 1-1-1850 .Which Peter is this and who is Rachael ? Also in the Looney Cem is Manerva Leggett and Matidla G Leggett , Mary Williams and W P Williams , Eliza Ann Brinkley and Thomas J Brinkley. This Peter is my ancestor....Peter H. Looney ( to distinguish him from a cousin ) Peter H. was married to Rachel Harmon......I'm unsure about Manerva Leggett, although Peter had a daughter, Minerva, who married a Richard Garrison......Maltilda G. Leggett must also be Peter's daughter who married Whitmell Leggett 4 June 1832.....Matilda Looney Leggett b. 18 Jan 1812 ...d. 12 Sept 1851. I'm also interested in the Williams and Brinkleys you mentioned as I have nothing on them....Hope this helps. BTW, this is Peter (3) Absolom (2) Robert (1) Barbara Jarvis

    3. Dear List, I've just returned from GB and Isle of Man. I went to the Manx Museum which holds old parish registers to try and find info re: Robert and ? Llewellyn Looney. Upon consideration, the folks there in charge decided that the Maughold Parish records were much too fragile to allow anyone to handle them. I searched all available film they had and came up with zilch. A real disappointment, but understandable. Sorry I wasn't able to be of more help, but the trip to IOM was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Carol
