I am looking through the archives and, considering the stated purpose of this list, I feel we need some discussion about how far the project got, where the data is stored and how to access it, etc. I am sending this to the Rootsweb list as I feel everybody has not yet joined the .io group and I want everybody to have a chance to send your input. I have created the London-1891 group at groups.io and will send everyone an invitation to join as soon as the go ahead is given. The original description is a bit changed to: Former Rootsweb genealogy list for the volunteers who are transcribing the surnames from the 1891 census to submit their inputs. The ultimate goal is to have all of these surnames on the web in a searchable form. The group is open to everyone and any message related to the original project is welcomed (comments, questions etc.).
