Hi everyone, I’d love to know if there are any BALMONT family researchers out there. The line I’m specifically interested in descends from James BALMONT and his wife Sarah nee LEGG who were married in Kenton, Devon in 1817. Their daughter, Elizabeth, born 1819 at Dulverton, Somerset had an illegitimate son in 1844 who she named Charles Henry Discombe BALMONT. Charles H D BALMONT moved to the London area in the 1860’s, and married Elizabeth Harriet MAHON there in 1869. I’m keenly interested in finding out what happened to their son, Charles Henry BALMONT born 20th February 1870 at Marylebone. In anticipation, kindest regards to all, Jon
