Dear All, I think I have knowledge of a daughter of my paternal grandfather's older brother, viz Frederick George Drew (wife Mary Ann (maiden name Smith)) - his daughter born in 1919, Violet Drew. She married Albert E. Littlepage in 1936, registered in Poplar. Then I belive that Frederick George Drew died at his daughter's house in 1961, but she was now called Violet James and her husband was Albert James. Their address then was 30 Dawson Avenue, St. Pauls Cray. The problem lies in the two names of husbands ! I cannot find the death of Littlepage, or the marrage to Albert James recorded anywhere. Is it the same person changing his name or any other answer. Any information would be gratefully received. Regards Tony Drew

Divorce wasn't unheard of in those times, just extremely difficult.
