Hi Hugh and Nivard, I belong to a very active Afrikaans South African genealogy mailing list that has recently moved from Yahoogroups to Groups.io. (SAGenealogie@groups.io) The changeover went smoothly and it is working well. One can even attach some attachments which is an improvement on Yahoogroups. I do not know exactly what option/s our list owner Dennis Pretorius selected, but it was a paid option - several members of the group kindly banded together and donated to pay for the membership.
