    3. Good morning all I am having great difficulty in finding out what happened to Charles CAIRNS after 1881 Census. I have some details of his Military History which showed he was discharged in December 1888. Therefore he should be on 1891 Census. I have looked at all the Charles Cairns on Find my Past but cannot find him. I don't have access to Ancestry, so if you can, I would be very grateful. Shown below are the 1871 & 1881 Census details.
