A happy 2015 to all members! I am struggling to find any biographical information at all about a man by the name of Verdoni (forename not known). A reliable printed source states that he died about 1804 "in his apartments" in Panton Street. Finding his burial record would at least give me his forename(s). Panton Street was in the parish of St. Martin in the Fields, but does anyone know of any Catholic burial registers in the Westminster area? He is known to have lived in Paris in the 1770s, one writer saying that he moved to London in the 1790s to escape revolution. Another writer suggests that he was Italian by birth.
