    3. Hello list, I have been unsuccessful so far in finding out the maiden name of the wife of William Rawlins [d. 1716], a woollen draper from the parish of St Bartholomew. London. In his will, William mentions his wife Martha and sons Thomas, Isaac, Richard and William. Also his sister Anne King, two cousins Elizabeth King and Martha Glentworth. I am also trying to find out who the wife is of William's son Thomas [1695-1733], also a woollen draper. Thomas's will, proved 18 May 1733, did not mention his wife or names of his children, but did note his three brothers Isaac, William and Richard and his sister Hannah Woods. Also mentioned was Aunt Glentworth but with no Christian name. It was evident from his will that his children were all very young at the time. The birth date I have for Thomas Rawlins came from a bible belonging to the husband of his grand-daughter Philadelphia Chater, who was married to Rev. John Neal Lake. The journal "The Political State of the Month of May 1733" stated "4th May 1733 Died - Mr Thomas Rawlins, a Woolen Draper in Cloth Fair." If anyone can help with the above I would be very grateful and if anyone can come up with the birth/baptism details of the children I would be doubly pleased. I have looked at the records on ancestry, Findmypast and the genealogist websites but nothing to categorically prove anything. Regards, Julia York, Western Australia
