Hi Listers, I have an ancestor HENRY FARRER who was sentenced in the Old Bailey in 17th September 1806 for transportation for 7 years. He then was on the Retribution Hulk on 1807 at Woolwich and died onboard in 1811. Would he have gone to Newgate between September and 1807 ? Also how can I find any details of him and also any records of his death ? Thanks Maureen Farrer in Oz.
