Fulham was suffered heaving bombing in September 1940, so you may need to look further. St.Thomas's is still going, and has a website. Should be able to tell you if the graveyard was bombed. Fulham Cemetery may have been bombed .. I'll try and ask someone who may remember. Hammersmith and Fulham Archives (Google) should have info. There may also be something in the London Metropolitan Archives. I*think* the London Topographical Society may have published a volume of Bomb Maps. Regards, John Henley

    3. This is the book that John is thinking of; http://www.topsoc.org/twentieth-century Limited edition publication. Comes up every now and then on Ebay and goes for anything between GBP400-GBP800. I seem to recall that each borough has sheets of their own area so would suggest you get in touch with Hammersmith & Fulham Council - http://www.lbhf.gov.uk/Directory/Leisure_and_Culture/Libraries/Archives/17430_Archives_and_Local_History.asp HTH Andy ----- Original Message ----- From: "johnfhhgen via" <[email protected]> To: "mal parr" <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, March 20, 2015 2:22 PM Subject: Re: [LON] BOMB DAMAGE IN FULHAM IN WWII > On 20/03/2015 1:22 PM, mal parr via wrote: >> I am trying to find out if any parts of Fulham, SW6, suffered bomb >> damage during the Second World War? >> The area of particular interest is bounded by Dawes Rd/Estcourt >> Rd/Rylstone Rd/Sherbrooke Rd and would include the Church of St. Thomas >> of Canterbury and its adjoining graveyard, and the nearby St. Thomas >> Primary School. >> Any suggestions re. potential sources of information will be most >> welcome. >> This enquiry is directly related to my family history research, and my >> ongoing search for a missing family grave. >> Mal in W.
