    3. Many thanks to those who contributed answers to the query re RC parishes in the East End. I have members of an Irish Catholic family [Fell] who were residing Rosemary Lane [Royal Mint Street] c 1841 One child, Lawrence was born Pennington Street in 1840 and baptised at the Virginia Street Chapel.27 Aug 1840 I haven't been able to find the baptism for his sister Rosa who was born about 1835. The parents Lawrence FELL and his wife Eliza ALBERT were married at St Dunston in the East in 1835. Would Virginia Street Chapel have been the most likely place for Rosa's baptism? If so I was unable to find her there. [She could of course been born before the marriage :) ] I was able to purchase some years ago from the Roman Catholic Archives copies of transcripts of the registers of several churches in the general area . [which I can't find at the moment :( ] Any suggestions welcome. Judy Qld Australia
